Who is a good Manager???

"Good Manager are made not born.........Yes/No...?"

Obviously, Manager work in organization and one who is in charge of running a business firms or organization is a Manager. Do all the managers are good managers? Definitely not, there are certain qualities that a good manager ought to bear. In fact, every organization has a purpose and is made up of people who are grouped in some fashion. The term manager across the message of the term management and it refers to the process of getting things done effectively and efficiently, though and with other people. I hereby likely to present a vivid picture of manager and management as  parallel banks of a river.
However, management is a process of planning, organizing, controlling, leading and deciding regarding to those management processes, a successful manager should have some basic skills related to managerial competence. Some of the skills and abilities which are sense to be worthy to acknowledge the ethos of a real manger or customize one’s journey towards a leading manager are presented.

I) Conceptual skills: Refers to mental ability and capacity to analyze and synthesize to diagnose complex situation. They help managers see how things fit together and facilitate making good decision. So a good manage is a strategic problem solver and has the ability to be proactive and stay ahead of the environmental change. It bitterness to update and accurate on the spot decision making.

II) Interpersonal skills: Encompass the ability to work with, understand, mentor and motive other people, both individually and in group. Because managers gets things done through other people. A successful manager must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate, motivate and delegate. This skill of a manager can be more precisely understood as organizing and co-ordinating behavior.

III) Technical skills: Technical skill is more concern with specialize knowledge or expertise. For the top level managers these abilities tend to be related to knowledge of the industry and a general understanding of the organization’s processes and products. This type of skill is much more concerned with the specialized knowledge required in the areas with which a manager works. It incorporates the field like finance, human resources, information technology, manufacturing, computer systems, law, marketing, and the like.

IV) Political skills: This area is related to the ability to enhance one’s position, build a power base and establish the right connection. Organization are political are where people compete for recourses. Managers with good political skills tend to be better at getting resources for their organization.
Those managers who possesses good management ethics, vision farsightedness along with proactiveness in handling conflicts are labeled to good manager. In addition to this a good character, insight knowledge, fair financial discipline stuffed with admirable participatory decision maker is a good and successful manager. Self assessment, criticism and praise are designed to enhance the future of a leader so it is for this reason a good manager should abide these facts and traits it positively, Which in turn stuffs him the credit of good and successful managers.
Hence, management is not inside the book rather it is on the stage of real practice, the more efficiently and effectively you can showcase your ideas and vision on the platform of work place, the more you can attire to better manager. A manager enriched in management is infact an Ideal manager.
